Dear Salon Beauty Bar Clients,
For starters, thank you all for your support during this weird rollercoaster ride. We thoroughly enjoyed all of your DM’s and posts on your social media platforms showcasing your hidden talents and your unknown love for baking! Now that we have clear guidelines on keeping you and our staff safe, we are pleased to announce that our hairstyling services will commence May 19th, 10 am – 6 pm. Our Nails and Esthetics services will start May 26th 10 am – 6 pm.
HOW BOOKINGS WILL BE HANDLED
To be fair to everyone, we will be handling bookings in sequential order and clients with bookings in March, April and May will be contacted first. Once those clients have been contacted, new bookings will be open. If you did not have a standing appointment and/or have not heard from us, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to request an appointment detailing the service you would like, preferred date/time with the name of your service provider, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
If you are a minor, elder or client with special needs, please include this information in your email so special arrangements can be made. We will not be accepting walk-in clientele or allowing tourists into our establishment. Please note that we will not accept any bookings without a valid credit card. Any, no shows or late cancellations less than 48 hours notice will be charged their full service fee.
We have always taken pride in the cleanliness of The Salon. Now more than ever, we are taking extra precautionary measures to keep everyone safe and with that we will have fewer time slots available to service clients. We kindly ask that you arrive alone, masked and on time as we funnel through our backlog of clients. We have masks available for purchase at $2 if you do not have your own or have forgotten one. Refusal to wear a mask will be refusal of service by us.
We would love to service as many clients as we can and again, factoring in the extra sanitation practices that will taking place between each client, it is imperative that you give us at least 48 hours notice for any change or cancellation and to avoid paying the cancellation fee as previously mentioned.
NEW PROTOCOLS AS FOLLOWS:
Please call us at 604.682.4645 once you have arrived for your appointment and with only essential items such as, a mask (personal cloth masks are acceptable), phone, wallet, jacket and small bag. This will help minimize the amount of surface contact with your personal items and our common space(s).
When you enter the salon you will be asked to wash and sanitize your hands and phone before the service begins.
Our service providers will be masked, some shielded and wearing disposable aprons.
Sneeze guards have been set up throughout The Salon for added protection.
Payment terminals and various high touch points such as, door knobs, treatment beds, nail/hair stations and counters will be sanitized after each transaction and appointment.
Fifteen minutes have been allotted to thoroughly sanitize tools and work stations after each appointment. As well, gloves and disposable aprons will be discarded after each appointment as usual.
All service providers have completed their sanitation knowledge course and certified by Barbicide.
Appointments will be staggered to ensure physical distancing between clients is upheld.
Services are done by appointment only. If you need to purchase product, please call prior to arriving and we will have it ready for pickup.
No magazines will be provided during service, however we have free WIFI if you want to poke around on your sanitized phone.
Water will be served in disposable cups. You may bring your own bottle, however we cannot refill it for you.
**Please note there will be a Price Increase of up to $5 on all services due to the inflation costs of PPE supplies** (Personal Protective Equipment)
